Our yarn is hand dyed in small batches using professional quality acid dyes. While the pictures are true to color, there might be slight variation when you receive the yarn due to differences in the screen you are using.

Our yarn is washed and set after dyeing but slight color bleeding may occur. We recommend hand washing your finished object separately, in cool water.

Please note that because of the nature of hand dyed yarn, each skein will be slightly different. If you are using more than one skein in your project, we recommend alternating skeins each row to make the color of your finished product more uniform.

Right on the Mark

This was my first order from Needles at the Ready. When this yarn arrived it did not disappoint! The color depth of the tonal "grey" and through the green speckling is amazing. This base has a high twist and I was worried it might be too strong (not soft enough) for a tee, but it is working up beautifully even at a loose gauge on the 3.75 mm (US 5) needles. I will certainly order more for socks & shawls and try some of the other bases and colors. I really appreciated that many of the yarns on the website also had images of knit swatches: more please (and maybe some crocheted ones, also).
