Our yarn is hand dyed in small batches using professional quality acid dyes. While the pictures are true to color, there might be slight variation when you receive the yarn due to differences in the screen you are using.
Our yarn is washed and set after dyeing but slight color bleeding may occur. We recommend hand washing your finished object separately, in cool water.
Please note that because of the nature of hand dyed yarn, each skein will be slightly different. If you are using more than one skein in your project, we recommend alternating skeins each row to make the color of your finished product more uniform.

I just received my order of two skeins on Achilles Sock base in the brilliant colourway Frozen Grasshopper …. and it is outstanding in person. More so than mere pictures will allow. Usually the colours are less vibrant in person than they are in pictures. At least that has been my experience of late. The colourway is pure perfection. Now I have got to decide how long am I going to just admire it before I make something really special with it. Thank you, Kevin.
