Our yarn is hand dyed in small batches using professional quality acid dyes. While the pictures are true to color, there might be slight variation when you receive the yarn due to differences in the screen you are using.
Our yarn is washed and set after dyeing but slight color bleeding may occur. We recommend hand washing your finished object separately, in cool water.
Please note that because of the nature of hand dyed yarn, each skein will be slightly different. If you are using more than one skein in your project, we recommend alternating skeins each row to make the color of your finished product more uniform.

The color artistry shown with Needles at the Ready Yarn is second to none! The lighter colors have a sophistication to them so beyond the "typical" pastels and the brighter colors are rich and complex. The semi solids are AMAZING when you are looking for high contrast as they are well saturated with color while still allowing a very slightly tonal hand dyed look. The yarn has great hand feel, knits easily

Really appreciate that the 3 beautiful yarns I ordered (Pistachio Brittle, Rustic Brick, and Wild orchid) are true colors as shown on the website. I'm especially pleased that I don't have another skein of apple green.
